Les Viviers d'Oléron are located at the heart of the Marennes-Oléron region, the leading European oyster-breeding area, which allows us to have a logistics A / B for all of France and other neighbouring countries (Belgium, Italy, Spain, Switzerland ...). The company was established in 1992 by Léandre Pajot, a native of the ‘Ile d'Oleron’ and from a family of people working with seafood for three generations. He was trained to work in the seafood industry and has always worked in this environment.
Always aware of the market, we sell about 3,000 tons of seafood annually, and regularly adapt our working methods to the various technological developments to improve our quality and profitability.
Les Viviers d'Oléron is a company specialized in the trade of shellfish with an area of about 1500 m2.
In this perimeter you will find our shellfish pools and an approved treatment plant with a capacity of 10 tons / day.
The Viviers d'Oléron are located on the island of Oléron, on the Atlantic coast between La Rochelle and Bordeaux. We are connected to the mainland by a 3 km viaduct; we are on the southeast coast of the island by the channel of La Brande, an inlet with very few farms and in close proximity to the sea (less than 500 meters), which allows us to be supplied daily in sea water quality zone A.
